General trading conditions
§ 1 General
(1) With the use of the website the customer recognizes the general trading conditions. All offers are noncommittal. Mistakes, EDP and misprint are reserved. The salesman takes over for this no liability.
(2) All postcards are, if not explicit to it one refers, contemporary originals. The descriptions are made after best knowledge and certain. These and verbally made declarations do not secure characteristics in the sense of § 495ff. German Civil law book (BGB) too.
(3) www.karten-himmel.de insures that the time-historical and military-historical picture postcards from the time between 1933-1945 only used for purposes of the civic clearing-up, the defense of unconstitutional and anticonstitutional efforts, the scientific and art-historical research (german law §86a StGB).
(4) With the delivery of orders for picture postcards, which are provided with emblems of the third realm, the orderer commits himself to acquire these things only for historical-scientific purposes for above-mentioned reasons and them in no way propagandistically, in particular in the sense paragraph 86a of the StGB to use.
(5) Offers at www.karten-himmel.de offen changes. So please take care with saved websites and actualize the sites in your browser from time to time.
(6) The pictures indicated in the Shop as preview were scanned and look better in the original. If you need a better scan showing mor details, please send an email.
§ 2 Conclusion of a contract
(1) If the customer orders the commodity on electronic way, I will confirm the entrance of the order and the availability of the commodity within a short operating time. The contract comes off, if the orderer received a confirmation mail of order by www.karten-himmel.de.
§ 3 Forwarding expenses / Minimum purchase order value
(1) The forwarding takes place only against pre-payment. The indicated prices are end prices, the customer pay additionally only forwarding expenses. Forwarding expenses take you please from the forwarding expenses table. The risk of a safe feed carries the buyer. If you want to choose another mode of forwarding expenses like insured package or something else communicates you please with your order. The buyer carries the auxiliary costs resulting thereby.
(2) There is not a minimum purchase order value.
§ 4 Retention of title
(1) I reserve myself the property at the commodity up to the complete payment of the purchase price.
§ 5 Delivery
(1) The delivery takes place via sending the commodity to the address of the customer. The delivery takes place regularly, at the latest within four days after received payment, it is, another delivery time is indicated. Possible delays by the post office are not considered here.
(2) The price is to pay within 7 days after receipt the confirmation mail. To expiration of this term the customer comes into delay of payment. The customer has to pay interest on the money debt at a value of 5%.
If the customer does not pay his commodity within 4 weeks, the delivery requirement expires.
§ 6 Return right
(1) Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third Party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Karten-Himmel, Seydlitzviertel 11, 16303 Schwedt (GERMANY), Tel.: +49/3332/836115, Email: shop@karten-himmel.de) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
(2) Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

§ 7 Guarantee
(1) The description of the articles takes place with largest care and after best knowledge. Smaller lack are not mentioned always, are however considered during the selling price calculation. Postally used one and old postcards usually have customs traces, edge errors or corner break, but do not reduce its value however. All offered articles are usually only once present, it is, larger possible order quantities are referred.
(2) If the customer selects the cancellation of the contract because of a on the right of or a material defect, beside it no claim for damages is entitled to it because of the lack.
§ 8 Data security
In the context of the order completion the necessary data by means of an EDP equipment are worked on and saved. Personal data are confidentially treated and not passed on on third.
§ 9 Salvatori clause
In case of the inefficacy of individual conditions the remaining regulations remain fully effective. In place of ineffective regulations the legal regulations apply.
§ 10 Area of jurisdiction
The area of jurisdiction is for both parties the city Schwedt/Oder. It applies excluding the right and the language of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The orderer recognizes on all aforementioned conditions and shipping terms with his order.
